Work gloves - Guidelines for European Standards.
Category | Description |
---|---|
I category | Minimal hazards, minor protection demand. |
II category | Medium hazards, good cut resistance, abrasion and puncture. The gloves must be tested by an independent approved body. The CE marking with the pictogram will appear on the glove. |
III category | Protection against irreversible and fatal hazards. The gloves must be tested and certified by an approved body that will implement periodical quality checks. The approved body will be identified by a number that will appear in the marking of the glove, next to the pictogram. |

Norms for food safety
![]() |
The European Community has introduced provisions for the management of the food and food industry. These provisions guarantee that gloves that come into direct contact with food do not decompose and do not mix with the food that is being prepared. Gloves marked with this label are suitable for use in the food industry. |
